IT Strategy

In response to rapidly changing business environments, the seamless operation and continuous development of the IT infrastructure that supports business goals and processes are gaining more and more strategic importance for our customers. Companies face the challenge of increasing operational efficiency and profitability; their growth and success in the market depends on the performance and availability of their IT systems. Today IT has become an indispensable part of business strategy.

Drawing upon our experience in IT, we help our customers already with the process of strategy definition and provide comprehensive support in all three areas of planning:

  • Information system strategy (IS), which, on the basis of business challenges, aims to align the potentials of business-focused IT and business needs. IS is usually formed at the level of business units, following which a unified IS strategy is developed that yields enterprise-level synergies.

  • Information technology strategy (IT), which covers technological potential and concepts; clarifies architecture-related questions, technical standards, and supplier policies; and defines the framework based on which IT professionals implement the systems in detail and the users use them

  • Information management strategy (IM), which addresses the questions of enterprise management. IM is an organization-based, business communication-oriented strategy focusing on management, which covers the roles and structures of IT plans within the organization and focuses on company vs. partner and HQ vs. units relations in terms of management control, responsibilities, and management processes.
